Congratulations to Chad M.
How have you modified the performance of your Mitsubishi?
I have modified the 3G's performance with the following add ons: To allow the 4G64 engine to breathe a little better, i have added on an AEM Cold Air Intake. NGK Iridium Spark Plugs were also added to the equation to make sure that extra amount of air would ignite. An Invida N1 Cat-Back Exhaust was bolted on to give the 3G a nice deep tone, and even more breathing room. A custom Battery Ground Kit was also made and installed to allow better electricity flow and throttle response. The 3G was also given some Tein S-Tech Springs to give it a solid drop with improved handling. Some KYB AGX Adjustable Shocks and Struts were put on to complement the Tein Springs. To keep the whole ride smooth, yet sporty, and to make sure it lasts a while, KYB Strut Boots and Stoppers, KYB Strut Mounts, KYB Bushing, custom camber kit, and stronger bolts were also installed. The OEM rear drum brakes were swapped out for some GT disc brakes to increase stopping power.
How have you modified the exterior of your Mitsubishi?
To improve the over-all look of the 3G, i have added: The VIS Extreme GT Carbon Fiber Hood. The headlights were changed out to Black Housing Halo Projection Sonar Headlights, with Black Housing Turn Signals. The rear end of the car had the reverse lights and third brake light shaded with VHT NiteShade. Black TYC Tail Lights finish off the equation. All of this sits on a set of 18 in Black Tenzo RS-5 Wheels wrapped with Kuhmo Ecsta (winter tires).
How have you modified the interior of your Mitsubishi?
To improve the interior of the 3G: A 1600W Lanzar Heritage Amplifier was added to a Custom Sub-Enclosure. The box encloses two 12 in 1000W Lanzar Sub-Woofers. Two 3 in computer fans were added to keep the heat level down. I have swapped the interior lighting for the gauges to Blue LED's. A custom clock pod face cover was also added to the interior.
What other ways have you modified your Mitsubishi?
To complete the 3G (for now at least): The calipers for the disc brakes were painted Aluminum Silver to match the car. The windows have also been tinted to 5% in the rear, and 25% up front. Lastly, the Aluminum Fuel Door was Powder Coated Flat Black to go along with the "black and silver" theme.
